Minimum requirements to donate blood
- Aged 18 to 65 years
- Weigh at least 45 kg
- Haemoglobin 12.5 g/dL or above
- Feeling well today: no fever, cold, or active infection
These follow NBTC (National Blood Transfusion Council) guidelines. Final eligibility is confirmed by the blood bank or hospital at the time of donation.
