BloodKonnect is a pan-India platform that connects people who urgently need blood with willing, eligible donors nearby -in real time. No WhatsApp forwards, no stale contact lists, no calling strangers at 2 a.m. Just the nearest matching donors, notified the moment a request goes out.
In an emergency, families lose precious hours posting in groups and dialling numbers that no longer work. India has millions of eligible donors -what's missing is the infrastructure to reach the right ones instantly. BloodKonnect is that infrastructure.
Someone posts a need -blood group, hospital, units, urgency. Compatible donors in the closest zone get an instant alert. A donor accepts, heads to the hospital, and the donation is marked confirmed.
Matching is pincode-first, not city-wide. A request starts in your immediate area and widens outward every 30 minutes -pincode → nearby → district → state → all-India -so the closest donor is reached first and nobody is spammed for a need across the country.
BloodKonnect uses the full blood-group compatibility matrix. An A+ recipient is matched with A+, A−, O+ and O− donors -not just an exact match -widening the pool while keeping every match medically safe.
Donors stay in control. Set how often you're notified, pause anytime, and an automatic 56–120 day cooldown after donating means you're never asked too soon. Helping should never feel like spam.
Your phone number is never shown publicly. A requestor sees your name and number only after you accept their request -and only then. Withdraw, and your contact disappears again. You're always asked to consent first.
Create an account in seconds with Google or a mobile number and password -no app to download, no long forms. Your mobile number stays your point of contact for coordinating donations.
